Back in the Bay Magazine’s Summer Edition has a June 23 deadline and the print publication will begin circulation the first week of July.
The inaugural Spring Edition had a successful Small Town Times Productions launch with just under 30 advertisers and sponsors blended with 17 stories and 40 photos.
There were 5,000 copies delivered to residential addresses in various neighbourhoods of North Bay by Canada Post and an additional 1,000 were circulated to subscribers, advertisers and retail outlets. Tourism North Bay was the anchor advertiser with its four-page centre-spread newsletter produced by Small Town Times. And the four-page feature for the 100th anniversary of the North Bay Golf and Country Club was a hit with four businesses supporting the editorial coverage by buying quarter-page ads.
It was also a smooth transition from the previous magazine, published by A Bit of the Bay Productions, with none of its legacy subscribers choosing a refund after receiving the new publication. Those with remaining editions owed will receive the Back in the Bay Magazine until their subscription lapses.

Writer, photographer and proud father. My mom's family is from the Soo with its Algoma Highlands, dad hailed from Cobden in the Ottawa Valley and I spent my teen years in Capreol. Summers were at the beach on the Vermillion River and winters at 'The Rink.' Born in East York but Toronto never was my thing. Ever since a kid looking out the window on long trips, I imagined living on the highway in a little house with a big yard and trees growing all around me.
